WHY CAN’T I JUST USE MY STEP-LADDER?

They are attached to the ceiling, so loft ladders are more stable. Opening the solid hatch door is easier than when reaching from a ladder.

WHAT DO I PUT THE CHRISTMAS TREE BOX ON?

Even a couple of sheets of plywood down on the ceiling joists can create a suitable floor. And a portable LED light helps you find the tinsel.
