Keeping your roof healthy in Winter
Level 4 – Level 3 – Level 2 – it’s as though we are counting down to the looming winter! If that is the case, there are four questions to consider before the rain clouds gather:
1. After being confined to your house for so long, are you getting ready to sell it and find something bigger? A new re-roof not only adds value to your property, but it makes it look appealing for the photographs and open homes.
2. Have you used the ‘stay at home’ time to clean out the garage? If so, now’s the ideal time to paint and protect the bare concrete floor. No more stains. No more dust.
3. Are your gutters free from debris? We’ve had some strong overnight winds so it will pay to make sure no leaves or twigs are blocking up your spouting.
4. Got a drip? After a frost or heavy dew, you may notice wet concrete beneath your spouting – that’s a sign that a bit of gutter maintenance is due.
Winter is definitely coming. Is your roof ready?
Question of the Month
“Why should I paint my garage floor?
Bare concrete collects dust and dirt which is then walked through your house. Ick! And if your laundry is in the garage, it’s even more important to not let grime gather – a painted surface is simply much easier to keep clean.
We use practical epoxy resin coating solutions which are perfect for garage floors, and factories, warehouses, workshops, hygiene areas, showrooms, even aircraft hangars!
Or, if you need to protect your tinted concrete driveway or patio (or pavers, brickwork, blockwork, concrete or stone) then we have a fast-drying, clear, solvent-based acrylic resin sealer which is the ideal durable coating. It reduces weathering and helps prevent moss growth.
